This page is dedicated to the
firefighter's turn out gear
along with pictures and description of use.
The reason for this page is to acclimate the children
to see that there is just a regular person under that scary suit and mask.

This page will be read by second grade kids so it needs to be written for those kids to understand
what you are trying to say when you give all your descriptions of each picture.

I gave you an idea of how to give the descriptions with the first one.
If you need to add more info on the first one be my guest.  This is your page.
Also I will be getting more pictures of the Scott Pac, boots & what ever you think you would like on this page.
Remember that you will be on here for your kids to see also in the future.

This web site will be advertised in the LG Regional, & hopefully on Fox 6 Milwaukee so let's do this right!

Here we have firefighter (your name goes here) in his firehouse uniform.  When he is dressed like this he is able to help on the ambulance, do his paper work, do office chores like cleaning the office or washing the fire trucks.
Here firefighter (your name goes here) is putting on his special boots that already has his firefighter pants in a ready position to pull up.

(Or something like that)

If you want a green arrow to point to something I have PhotoShop
& I can do just about anything.

Remember that we can re-shoot this set if you want so that your head is always looking up or your actually smiling a little bit for the kids. Remember your the FRIENDLY FIREFIGHTER that is there to help save their life.  They will always remember these pictures.
It is no problem to do re-shoots I love taking pictures.
At least you get an idea of what is going to happen here.

What is the name for this & why is it used
Helmet, goggles, wedge

We can use this view or the next view

The Nomex neck shield & why it's there
The brass hook & its use

The name tag & Velcro & why it is there & what it is used for

I have to re-take these because that eagle is there to hold the shield in place & I missed that.  Also find out if there is a significance of the eagle being there & not some other type of adornment like a hand reaching out holding it in place. (that was a joke!)
Why you have the wedge & why you keep it on your helmet
How this special flashlight helps to see through the smoke
What makes these gloves so special
The scary mask and what it's used for
